Page 5 Book 1: Betrayal Blues
I’ve often wondered “What did the losing side think of the battle?”.
Obviously Napoleon believed he was going to have a decisive victory, until Nelson’s army stood up and the Royal Guard started fleeing. Kublai Kahn probably fought it would be an easy fight, until a typhoon decimated his fleet.
So here we have the dichotomy, one side is certain they’re going to be perfectly fine, the other is getting doubts based on the present issues.
I’m sure Arthur isn’t telling something in the last panel…
