The Drow have been a mainstay in D&D settings since 1st edition, so it’s certainly fun for me to include them in this story. Having them speak German just made sense to me, for some reason “Undercommon” kept sounding like “Untercommon” in my head…

This was a pretty intensive comic to make, because it incorporates probably my largest number of backgrounds to date at 5 very different versions. However, it also has not a single non-unique character repetition, each Dwarf and Drow is unique in this comic.

So that’s a plus
