White and nerdy
It can certainly never be said that I’m “normal” by any stretch of the imagination, and I’m extremely and easily prone to obsessing about every fine detail of something (Why, just a few hours ago I caught myself reading everything there was to know about Alma Wade).
The hallucinatory duplicates seen in the past few Memory Loss videos are no exception.
There are three duplicates (Four if you include Real, who is basically just me), these are: Gaming, Critic, and Story.
Gaming is the part of my consciousness that is easily drawn into relaxing rather than doing real work. He’ll play Flash games and any console he can lay hands on, though deep in the back of his (demi-)brain he knows he shouldn’t. Evidently he also has my taste in food items. Gaming uses a staff weapon in combat (Yup, thought that far into it)
Critic is the part of me that basically grew up on the Internet. He’s cynical, sarcastic, and pessimistic, but has the widest knowledge of global events and human nature. Whilst “Real” is fairly neutral, Critic is highly negative. Critic uses hand-to-hand combat.
Story is the part of me that’s always coming up with tales and myths, the part that basically fuels the engine that’s writing all this blurb at the moment, he’s basically my writing talent. Ostensibly he’s also a LRR fanboy, I keep thinking of him as the British cousin twice removed on his father’s side of the actual Story Guy. Story, as seen in the latest ML video, is a stealthy assassin with a Swiss army knife.
The personas/duplicates/etc. are completely hallucinatory, but the camera views are usually as if by Real, so they’re visible and interactive, though if I ever get other actors on screen they’ll be visible only to Real. They’re intangible too, but as seen with Gaming and my sandwich, they can interact with Real via hallucination.
Aaaand now I’m gonna go lie down and regain some Con points.
