My family has been on a couple canal holidays, one of which I’ve been on as well. This is a fresh water yacht, but my main dislike of my canal holiday was being in the bathroom when the boat went under a bridge.

I’ve been on holidays with my family quite a bit over the years, usually I’m the one that advocates staying indoors or in the shade, all too aware there are things to be done and family members with an inability to tan & a susceptibility to burn.

Generally speaking my family holidays amount to long drives in my dad’s Triumph stag, wandering around dull historical sites, or pitching tents in muddy wet fields.
Hopefully the family holiday of the Minoblendy family will be better than those.

In reality, discussions like this take much longer when one parental potentiate is apprehensive of the idea. In a story, concessions must be made to move things along, but still…you must wonder if Rain truly was apprehensive of the idea.

Every now and then you come across something that shouldn’t really be funny, but somehow manages it anyway. In a lot of instances “shouldn’t really be funny” is applied for some reason of political correctness or manners/decorum, but in others its because if you think it through in your head it is just pretty plain.

Ah busy busy, I’ve still got a lot of page 14 to do and then I’ve got page 15 to get done entirely by Monday. My buffer somehow eroded beneath me this past week or so.
