  1. Wow, I like how you did this, Lying. Its portrayed well.
And the insight on how your system of magic works is genius.
Are you planning on any major writing? I would love to read some of the short stories that I’m sure you have playing out in your head.

  2. Holy crap. Lying, you are amazing. This page… wow.

I love that magic in your world works on a reasonable set of rules. Most people think it doesn’t need to make sense, but what they fail to realize is that it’s always better when it does.

It’s not surprising, given he’s using the strict D&D rules for magic.

Well, since it seems like he uses D&D rules, he’s not coming up with an entirely new system.
In D&D, drowning doesn’t deal any damage. First, you have a limited time of automatic breathing (less if you take strenuous actions). When that time runs out, you make some modified d20 checks; when you fail one of these checks, you fall unconscious. The round (or “turn”) after you fall unconscious, you are classified as “dying” - even if you’re pulled from the water, you may still die. In the next round, if you’re still underwater, you die.
It seems that as Igon drifts out of view, he loses consciousness. It also seems that time is slowed for full effect.
