Pretty pretty fire…
I really don’t know where the idea for this variation on fire design came from but I’m really liking how it turned out. The pacing in this page is a bit off but considering it’s basically a high-paced action scene, proper pacing in a comic format would be difficult to achieve anyway.
But that sure is some pretty fire…
Action pacing in a comic format is usually helped by varying the size and shape of the panels - lots of smaller ones with irregular edges tends to give the impression of fast cutting and kinetic energy.
I like the fire effect.
