Are the two fellas supposed to be faded out in panel 2?

I love the way perspective is handled in the first panel, showing the three towers in the background and the bigger one in the foreground. The last panel is pretty cool too. In fact, I think this strip might be a good candidate for being Made Of Win.

“We’re gonna need artillery to attack this place.”
“Don’t worry, they have plenty.”

I must ask, how does it make sense to use artillery against 4 individuals who already showed their control over arrows? For one thing, isn’t it going to be hard to launch that many giant rocks to land in the same place without having them hit each other in the air? Just seems somewhat flawed to me (though otherwise I love this one, heh).

are we ever going to know who the cloaked people are?
Comment by Danzama — August 2, 2010 @ 12:32 pm
@Sorator: they were probably hoping the size difference would be too great.

The Moon Elves seem to be a fan of disproportionate tactics. For example, slaughtering an entire population for one diplomat’s hostility and then turning that country into a freezing wasteland, launching thousands of arrows at four targets when a few aimed shots would have been more logical and less wasteful, and firing a battery of catapults towards the same individuals when a single shot would have accomplished as much.
Maybe they’re compensating for something?

I think the blurry people are blurred.
