Page 69 Book 5: Malevolent Machinations
I’ve drawn a creature of hell holding an adorable teddy bear. I think my artistic ability has just jumped the shark.
The teddy bear also somewhat spoils Ardonius’ serious facade, but I think it actually adds a fair bit to his character that we would grant Abigail one of his tattered feathers. Ardonius is a rare breed to be sure, but not alone in the population of fallen angels that fell through no true evil of their hearts, he is in truth still an angel, just acting according to a different superior. And as he stated some pages ago (and some time after this page in chronology), he never had any choice in what he did.
But it wasn’t Spire that gave it to him.
