Unlike the Imperial forces, Exersus and its allies have no standard uniform, no standard haircut, and indeed little if any mandate on what any individual should look like. Whilst this presents a few military and political challenges in the context of the story, it also presents a substantial challenge in the artistic realm: How to present these individuals visually.
