Webcomic Feature: MegaCynics

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade (Or, depending on service provider, make life take the lemons back). When life gives you a half-brother twenty years older than you, you apparently make a geeky webcomic about video games and sibling inequality. Who knew? (more…)

Hindsight and Experience

Working with my electronics projects, I can’t help but contemplate the notions of hindsight, and what experience with things means in the future. In many ways, the stuff I do with motors, microcontrollers, and sensors, is little different to what I do here in Remember. (more…)

Working in my lab, late one night…

I could honestly bore you all to tears with the proper function and engineering of an Arcanian shield generator system, but as its preying upon my frontal lobe quite a bit right now I’ll delve into further detail with my jacket project. (more…)

Update postponed

So today has not been the most pleasant. Woken up in the early hours by possibly the noisiest fly I’ve ever witnessed, strange bug with my LCD screen that I can neither explain nor remedy (but which has thankfully vanished with later code iterations), and then my first ever migraine. Consequently, I’ve spent most of today in the dark with a cup of tea and some paracetomol.

I had intended to wait until the pain and light-sensitivity abated slightly to then persevere and get the comic for tonight done, but due to parental intervention I am instead putting my health first just this once. Consequently, the comic for Monday 8th August 2011 will be uploaded and presented tomorrow, and the blog post below will have to keep you entertained while I attempt to regain my fortitude.

My sincerest apologies to you all for this momentary lapse in production, I shall certainly endeavour to avoid any such lapses in the future.

Introducing the local Mad Scientist

Warning: This post contains high concentrations of nerdery, and should not be read by those allergic to such. Post may also contain (a) nut. (more…)

The Function of Morale

Within the shielding, morale isn’t such a problem since the capture goal is trapped in there with the resistance forces. Outside the shield however, things are a tad different. (more…)
