It’s been a looooong time. How have you been?Special treat for comic #400: An hour early!

So yes, Enko and Anthur are back. If there is one thing I never do lightly, it’s kill a character. I always plan a long time ahead and I’ve known she would die and come back since way back in Book 1. There is a reason they had to die in the first place (to demonstrate the real people being affected by the occupation and ongoing conflicts) and now there is also a reason that they have to come back as well (to demonstrate the same real people taking back their world), and there’s also an intricate methodology behind the scenes owing to their resurrection (Rain had to contact Tala to get Anthur’s soul back, for one)

Enough blathering, enjoy!

  1. Yup. Didn’t see that coming.

    BUT IT’S AWESOME.

I’m glad Enko came back, though that was the best scene to date… (at least for me)

  4. Well… i dont like this.

This is like if at the end of Armaggedon Bruce Willis comes from the ground like “Dont worry guys im alive”.

Enko is now a joke character.

  5. The DnD setting is one where resurrection magic is not just possible, it is the norm for powerful enough spellcasters. And wait, this is a comic about ridiculously powerful spellcasters. If you can buy everything else that has happened in the comic, then this shouldn’t be half bad

  6. Is not about being resurrected, is about destroying the development of a character.

Why did she kill herself in the first place? Everyone that died because her fault could be resurrected.

And why did she come back to life? Did she thought “Boy, afterlife is boring” or something?

Srry if misspelling. English is not my first lenguage.

  7. Well, considering the fact that in DnD people are still capable of rational thoughts in the afterlife, she might have seen that suicide was a wrong decision, OR she had enough time to calm down, OR she simply met Arthur, and he, maybe, was resurrected first, so she followed?

  8. Hey! Notability! There’s a “flame war” about developments in the comic! (And probably way more on the forums . . .)
