A new challenger appears!
Saleme is another High Lieutenant that I’ve avoided drawing for a long while, similar to Lizzy. Her original design was little different to her current one, just woefully outdated and I’ve never been particularly happy with how little it really conveyed her character.

And then tonight, whilst working on her redesign for this page, I realised: It doesn’t have to. In fact for Saleme, that’s actually to her advantage, since she’s entirely intended to look relatively plain and ordinary, that’s entirely the look she’s going for.

You’ll find out why very soon, but as you can probably guess from her speech, all is not what it appears with Saleme.
