The big reveal.

Colour-blind edition

There have been a few guesses amongst the Forgetfuls as to the actual identity of the second Rangiramon and indeed they’ve been fairly good guesses, Tala especially as an extremely adept shapeshifter. As it happens however, no-one quite contemplated Rain’s doppelganger from Book 4, a girl who took an especial amount of effort to emulate her appearance.

So here we have another of Lockheed’s contributions to the battle effort, in the form of Mana Rigorn, Lorna’s most talented specialist assassin. In truth she hasn’t changed much, age-wise especially, but she has indeed matured over the intervening years, as I’ve tried to show in her updated design. As a near-perfect analogue of Rain’s physical specifications, she’s a clear choice for a double, especially with her unique adaptive nature and melee prowess next to Rain’s less brute-force-based approach to combat.

While the two are barely associated in personality, profession, or history, they could very well be considered sisters, and indeed that’s something of the relationship they share.

Lastly, with regards to the call for suggestions, it seems that the greatest achiever is the notion of more Webcomic Features. I’ll take a dive into the webcomic mines and see what under-appreciated gems I can dig up and we’ll see what I find from the usual feature slot of Wednesday next week.

Until then, I’ll see you all again Monday! Enjoy the page :)

  3. This actually occurred to me too, since I am an anagram geek and know that Mana Rigorn’s name can also be rearranged to Rangiramon.
